Information about our First Aid Courses

Are you looking for first aid training for you and your organisation? We deliver workplace first aid training courses that will get your team trained and remain safe and compliant for the valid three years. As an organisation you need to comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, which govern the provision of first aid by a business to their staff. The regulations apply to all workplaces, regardless of size. Our first aid courses are delivered with your specific industry in mind and we can develop bespoke training tailored to suit your specific requirements.

The level of the training you choose for your staff members will depend what hazards present within your business which will also include your risk on how many staff you employ. All our first aid training complies with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the First Aid Regulations 1981 and current guidelines published from the UK Resuscitation Council.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

6 hours / 1 day

A one-day course for low-risk environments that covers the treatment of immediately life-threatening conditions, including breathing, bleeding, burns, and shocks.

Designed for low-risk workplaces covering basic first aid skills and the roles and responsibilities of the Appointed Person.

First Aid at Work (FAW)

18 hours / 3 days

First Aid at Work, 18 Hrs, 3 Days. This course is designed for workers in high risk or dangerous workplaces, and those that supervise a large group of people whilst at work.

A three-day comprehensive course. Suitable for workplaces with large staff numbers, higher risk environments.

Emergency First Aid + F (EFAW+F)

7 hours / 1 day

A one-day course for forest workers and other organisations or teams working in forest settings. The course will cover the EFAW but also includes added modules necessary for the risks within these environments such as Major bleeding and Hypothermia.

Outdoor First Aid (OFA)

16 hours / 2 days

The Outdoor course is delivered over 16 hours of training to a range of participants from outdoor education, Mountain leaders, canoe instructors and DOFE leaders to name a few. A perfect all round 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid course where working in remote or wilderness areas away from help is common. The course covers a variety of injuries and illnesses to these higher risk environments.

First Person on Scene (FPOS)

28 hours / 4 days

First aid training for higher risk environments where the First aid at work course is not enough. The course in depth will cover managing casualties in various different climates, potentially hostile and where you could find yourself away from help for some time.

The course is suited and meets the requirement for Close Protection Officers as well as industrial high-risk organisations.  

Specialist First Aid Courses

We can provide specialist training for those who operate further afield or in high-hazard environments.   These first aid courses can be designed and bespoke to the client and organisations first aid needs. We can provide a full consultation and service to enhance these training courses further. Not available for individuals but specialised to discreet teams and organisations alike.
