What should I wear for the training day?

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities, as parts of the course involve hands-on exercises such as kneeling during CPR practice.

Is the Emergency First Aid at Work training practical or just theory?

The course combines classroom-based learning with practical, hands-on training throughout the day. Delegates will take part in activities including CPR, AED use, recovery position practice, and wound management. To successfully complete the course assessment, participants must be physically able to carry out the required practical exercises.

Certification options

Some organisations require certification to be issued by an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation.

We offer both self-certified and Ofqual-regulated accredited courses. The course content and training remain the same; the primary difference is the certification body and associated third-party fees.

Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation certification is available at an additional fee per person.

The instructor to candidate ratio is typically 1:12, with some courses being restricted to 1:8 or even 1:6.
