Manual Handling injuries are the main cause of lost working days in the UK. It is a process of lifting and carrying object around the workplace safely. The law requires employers to provide employees to have adequate and correct manual handling training with information on how to work in a safe manner. Employers can train their staff with Manual Handling effectively with this one-day Principles of Manual Handling course ensuring that they have taken the necessary steps to ensure that the duty of care is taken and staff are trained correctly. Employers must comply with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, as amended by the Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2002.
