Working in a Forest School or Outdoor Learning Environment?

If your role involves teaching or supervising children in woodland or outdoor learning environments, our Forest School First Aid with Paediatric First Aid course may be a more suitable qualification.

This specialist two-day programme combines comprehensive paediatric first aid with practical emergency care specifically designed for Forest School leaders, outdoor educators, schools and outdoor nurseries. Training prepares learners to manage emergencies involving infants, children and adults while considering the additional challenges of outdoor learning, including remote locations, environmental hazards and delayed emergency services.

Successful learners achieve both the QNUK Level 3 Award in Forest School First Aid (RQF) and QNUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF). The Forest School qualification has been developed specifically for adults and children in outdoor learning environments, while the Paediatric First Aid qualification supports those working in early years, childcare and education settings.
