FREC 3 Pre-Course Reading & Learning Resources
Preparing for your Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) course?
This pre-course learning area has been created to help you build a solid foundation before attending your practical training.
FREC 3 introduces learners to a much broader understanding of patient assessment, anatomy and physiology, medical emergencies, trauma and pre-hospital emergency care. Having a basic understanding of these subjects before your course means you can spend more of your classroom time developing the practical skills and clinical decision-making required of a first responder.
You don’t need to memorise everything before attending. These resources are here to help you understand the terminology, refresh existing knowledge and arrive better prepared for the course.
Already looking to undertake the qualification? Find out more about our FREC 3 Course in Devon, delivered at our Newton Abbot training centre.
